Misfire - Queen [Mustang Bass Cover / 1 Year Progress] ベース歴1年の記録 /アーカイブ企画#5
Queenのアルバム『Sheer Heart Attack』より『Misfire』（ジョン・ディーコン作詞作曲）のムスタングベースカバーです。
2021年、趣味でベースを始めて約1年が経った頃に撮影しました。
まだYouTubeを始める少し前でしたが、練習動画を撮る習慣が付き始めた頃の記録になります。
当時は「LINE録り」という方法を知らず、スマホを小型アンプの前に置いて録音したため音質はかなり荒いものでした。
2026年の現在になってから、GarageBandやマイナスワン作成アプリを使い、音質を少しだけ整えてみました。
古い動画ですので、アーカイブとしてひっそりと公開させていただきます。温かい目でご視聴いただければ幸いです。

This is a bass cover of "Misfire" from Queen's album Sheer Heart Attack, written by John Deacon.
I recorded this back in 2021, about a year after I picked up the bass as a hobby. It was just before I started my YouTube channel, right when I was getting into the habit of recording my practice sessions.
Back then, I didn't know about direct line-in recording, so I just placed my smartphone in front of a small amp. While the original audio was quite rough, I have used GarageBand and a backing track app to touch it up here in 2026.
Since it’s an old video, I'm uploading this quietly as a personal archive. I hope you enjoy watching my early days with a warm heart!

Here is the video from 2022, recorded about 10 months later, where I re-transcribed the song by ear and retook it. John Deacon's bassline was incredibly challenging, and I spent a great deal of time practicing it. Please note that I had just started direct line-in recording back then and had zero knowledge of mixing, so this was a period of endless trial and error.
