Exam Leaks: Game Over? A Radical New Fix | Vantage on Firstpost

India is considering a new way to prevent examination paper leaks: generating question papers at the last minute from a large digital question bank. In this video, Firstpost examines Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani’s proposal and how it could change the country’s examination system. The video looks at the NEET-UG controversy, which forced more than 22 lakh candidates to face uncertainty, and why a question bank could reduce opportunities for leaks. It also examines the challenges of protecting the database, ensuring different versions of an exam have comparable difficulty, and expanding computer-based testing infrastructure. With Nilekani’s task force expected to submit its report on October 28, the proposal could shape how India protects the fairness and credibility of competitive examinations. Hem Saroya tells you more.
