| CM Dhami | Hindi News
Following the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in Uttarakhand, the cancellation of Friday holidays at madrasas has sparked a debate. Students and parents at a madrasa in Dehradun say the change could affect Friday prayers and religious education. They have urged the government to reconsider the decision and restore the Friday holiday. No new decision from the administration has been reported so far.
