Brighton Rock - Queen Mustang Bass & Dubbed Vocal Cover (2021) ベース歴1年の記録/アーカイブ企画#4
Queenのアルバム『Sheer Heart Attack』より、『Brighton Rock』(ブライアンメイ作詞作曲)のムスタングベース＆多重録音ボーカル（別録り）カバーです。
この動画は2021年当時、ベースを趣味で始めて約1年の頃に制作したものです。
ブライアン・メイの誕生日に合わせて、初の「多重録音」に挑戦してみた思い出深いアーカイブになります。
当時はまだ録音用マイクも持っておらず、スマホを目の前に置いて一発撮りしたため元の音質はかなり荒いものでしたが、2026年現在GarageBandやバッキングトラック作成アプリを使い、音質を調整してみました。
5年後の今月、ちょうどブライアンの誕生月ということで、お祝いも兼ねてこのリマスター版を公開することにしました。
少し古い演奏にはなりますが、当時の熱量を感じながら温かい目でご視聴いただければ幸いです。

This is a bass and dubbed vocal cover of "Brighton Rock" from Queen's album "Sheer Heart Attack", written by Brian May.
I originally created this video back in 2021, when I had been playing the bass for about a year. To celebrate Brian May's birthday, I decided to take on the challenge of "dubbed vocals" for the very first time, making this a truly memorable archive for me. Since this month is Brian's birthday month, I wanted to share this remastered version to celebrate!
Back then, I didn't own a proper recording microphone, so it was just filmed straight from my smartphone in front of me. Although the original audio quality was quite rough, I have now restored and remastered it in 2026 using GarageBand and backing track tools to bring the sound to life.
It's an old performance, but I hope you enjoy this nostalgic piece of my bass journey!

Eight months after filming this, I actually recorded and uploaded a full cover of this song. Unfortunately, it has been copyright-blocked twice over the last four years and is currently unavailable. However, since the block might be lifted again in the future, I’m leaving the link here just in case!
