My Generation -The Who【Bass Solo練習の行く末/Mustang Bass】アーカイブ企画#7
The Whoの「My Generation」のベースソロパートを練習していた頃の動画を、今回音質を少し整えてアーカイブとしてアップさせていただきました。
この頃はベースを趣味で弾き始めて1年が過ぎたところで、まだYouTubeを始める前の時代でした。
トレブルを上げた10Wアンプの前にスマホを置いて、ジョン・エントウィッスルのフレーズをムスタングベースで一生懸命練習していたことを思い出します。
この後さらに1年ほど練習を重ね、My Generationをフルで弾いた動画がこちらです。
今回のアーカイブ本編では、その2022年のフル動画からベースソロパートのみを抜粋し、2021年の練習風景と対比できる形でご紹介しています。

現在、昔の動画を整理中で、未発表の古い練習風景を少しずつリマスターしながら投稿しています。
新作動画ではないため、登録者フィードには表示されない(通知されない)形で、アーカイブ企画シリーズとしてアップしています。

This is footage from when I was practicing the bass solo section of The Who's "My Generation."
I've cleaned up the audio a bit and am uploading it now as an archive.
At the time, I had been playing bass as a hobby for about a year, and this was before I started my YouTube channel.
I remember practicing John Entwistle's phrases on my Mustang Bass as hard as I could, with my phone set up in front of a small 10W amp with the treble turned up.
About a year after this, I kept practicing and eventually recorded a full version of "My Generation." You can find that video here.
In this archive video, I've included an excerpt of just the bass solo section from that 2022 full version, shown alongside the 2021 footage for comparison.

I'm currently going through old footage and gradually remastering unreleased practice videos to share here.
Since these aren't new uploads, they're posted as part of an archive series without notifying subscribers or appearing in the main feed.
