Based in Yao City, Osaka, Asukano’s *warabi-mochi* is a beloved national treat—the kind of product so famous that almost every Japanese person has seen it at least once!

This time, I tried Asukano’s original "Clear Warabi-mochi."

With its cool, transparent appearance, this *warabi-mochi* has a wonderfully chewy and jiggly texture that keeps you coming back for more! Dusting it generously with roasted soybean flour (*kinako*) adds a touch of sweetness that makes it taste even better. Sales for the season end in late September, so be sure to give it a try!
